The new product replaces liquid, powder and whole eggs in bakery, noodles, pasta and other bread products including pancakes, muffins, cakes and cookies.
As well as maintaining and often improving upon the quality of the finished product, ProOVO offers a 30-per-cent cost savings over eggs. It can be used for partial to 100-per-cent egg replacement, and produces a light, fluffy and moist texture in bread or baked products, and a springy mouth feel in pasta and noodle applications.
ProOVO is cholesterol free, provides the same protein content as eggs, and is vegetarian/vegan friendly.
