Mocon Inc.’s GreenLight Instruments for measuring bacterial levels are now available for use in dairy applications.
The technology, which measures aerobic bacterial levels, can provide results for raw milk between 30 minutes and five hours, compared to the 48- to 72-hours required by the traditional, agar-based, standard plate count method. Cost-effective, simple to use and precise, the Greenlight series are ideal for use in dairies, laboratories and on farms. They also offer valuable information for downstream processing, such as cheese making.
Mocon offers the fully automated GreenLight 930, as well as the more compact GreenLight 910.
