Poutine proves to be popular takeout food

As most Canadians have had to stay home for the greater part of the year to abide by social distancing rules, at-home eating behaviors have changed significantly.

DoorDash has unveiled its mid-year trend report with the top takeout foods ordered by Canadians. Using data from orders placed on the platform over the past six months, DoorDash has checked in on popular food trends, regionally and nationally.

Poutine, one of the most popular Canadian dishes, made the Top 10 foods in seven Canadian provinces.
