Edmonton processor announces soup deal

Business Operations AlbertaCanyon Creek and Equilibrium Foods strike supply deal
Edmonton, Alta. – Canyon Creek Food Company Ltd. has announced that it has entered into a supply agreement with St. Clements, Ont.-based Equilibrium Foods.
Equilibrium Foods sells products under the Janet & Greta brand in retail locations across Canada. The line of healthy foods was developed with Janet and Greta Podleski, cookbook authors and hosts of Eat, Shrink and Be Merry on the Food Network Canada.
Under the agreement, Canyon Creek will supply Equilibrium Foods with its fresh, refrigerated soup to be sold under the Janet & Greta brand. The soups will be available at various outlets, including Costco Canada in Western Canada.
