Balzac’s Coffee Roasters is pouring more than just a cup to kick off its 30th anniversary year celebrations. The Ontario-based specialty coffee company with a network of retail cafés across the province launches a limited-edition ‘Anniversary Blend’ whole bean coffee. This blend of 100 per cent Arabica beans pays homage to where they came from, where they are, and where they’re going next. It will be available at all Balzac’s retail cafés as well as online.

The company has also released a new integrated campaign and creative as well as a consumer promotion designed to celebrate the occasion.

“Looking back over our 30-year history,” says Christine Cruz-Clarke, CEO of Balzac’s Coffee Roasters, “we are so proud to have built great relationships with coffee lovers all across the country. This is a special year that we’re tremendously excited to celebrate, and this campaign helps us properly mark the occasion.”

The campaign includes a new :30 digital spot, which takes viewers on a walk through the brand’s storied past, from humble beginnings as a coffee cart at Toronto’s Ontario place to a footprint that includes 16 cafés and national distribution today.
