A wide range of Ontario manufacturers, retailers, and businesses have stepped forward to proudly promote made-in-Ontario products through the Ontario Made program. Since launching in July, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME)’s SupportOntarioMade.ca website has registered over 4,600 products from over 1,200 local manufacturers. Business leaders believe this initiative will benefit both manufacturers and consumers during the pandemic and post-pandemic recovery.
Ontario is home to some of the world’s greatest manufacturers, representing 750,000 workers.
For generations, Ontario manufacturers have designed, created, and assembled innovative products, such as cars, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, technology, clothing and more right here, every day.
Buying Ontario Made products supports these companies and their workers. This helps grow the economy which feeds money back into the services we as Ontarians rely on, like schools, roads, and health care. It’s time for us to stand up and celebrate Ontario manufacturers and Ontario made products.
Manufacturers are encouraged to register their Ontario Made products to our searchable consumer database and receive a digital Ontario Made logo as we promote the very best that this province has to offer.
