Cambridge, Ont. – PepsiCo Foods Canada is modernizing its Cambridge manufacturing facility with the help of a $3-million investment from the Ontario government.
The Cambridge facility produces Frito-Lay products, and employs more than 550 people.
The investment will allow PepsiCo Foods to modernize the facility, prepare it for the installation of a high-speed packaging system, and improve its competitiveness in the Frito-Lay North America manufacturing network.
“Modernizing our Cambridge plant will improve our already world-class product quality and safety standards, drive operating efficiency and ensure we are well-positioned for future growth at the site,” says Marc Guay, president of PepsiCo Foods Canada.
The investment is provided through the Rural Economic Development program.
