Nomad Foods Europe has launched a well-known and popular brand in the U.K. into Ontario.
Findus English Style and Steamed Delicious (CNW Group/Findus)
Findus is a frozen food brand. The product range for Ontario includes Findus Steam Delicious cod portions and Findus English Style battered fish.
Findus Steam Delicious includes two packs of cod loin sealed in a unique steam pouch. Consumers can prepare them in the microwave in four minutes. There are two flavours to choose: Chive and Herb Butter or Lemon Parsley Butter.
Nomad Foods Europe says Findus English Style is a family friendly product line made in the U.K. using an original British recipe. It’s available in four-pack haddock or cod, and six-pack pollock. Consumers can cook these in the oven in about 20 minutes.
Findus frozen fish products are made with sustainably sourced fish and are certified by the Marine Stewardship Council; the seal is on the packaging.
The products are available at Metro and Sobeys stores with a suggested retail price of $9.99 for Steam Delicious, and $10.99 for English style.
