Sobeys opens Nutella Café

Much to the delight of Torontonian Nutella lovers, Sobeys Inc. has opened Canada’s very first Nutella Café at its newly renovated Spadina Sobeys Urban Fresh store in Toronto.

The Nutella Café features an assortment of pastries and artisan breads made with Nutella, including bombe, aragosta, zeppole, pizelle and all-butter croissants and danishes. Fresh made-to-order crêpes with Nutella and premium hot beverages are also available at the Nutella Café.

“At Sobeys, we aim to surprise and delight customers through extraordinary, unique and unparalleled experiences, and our Nutella Café does just that,” says Mary Dalimonte, senior vice-president, Merchandising and Commercial Programs, Sobeys Inc. “We are proud to be the first in Canada to offer a Nutella Café to customers, where they can add a little joy to their day with the most tasty and delightful bakery items featuring the ever popular Nutella.”

As part of the grand opening celebration on Nov. 13, customers had the opportunity to sample products from the Nutella Café and were encouraged to share their experiences on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #NutellaxSobeys.
