Intercity Packers and Albion Fisheries announce strategic alliance

The two Vancouver-based companies will operate under the new name Albion Farms and Fisheries

Vancouver-based Intercity Packers Ltd. and Vancouver-based Albion Fisheries Ltd. have announced the strategic alignment of their two companies, operating under the new name Albion Farms and Fisheries.

Effective at the end of this May, this new alignment is expected to position Albion Farms and Fisheries as one of Western Canada’s largest fully integrated suppliers of meat and seafood, delivering a broad variety of the centre-of-the-plate offerings and high-quality service to the marketplace.

“We are enthusiastically committed to increasing customer service levels in a variety of new and exciting ways,” says Danny Ransom, general manager of Albion Farms and Fisheries. “This includes improved ease of ordering, a wider breadth of products, and one-truck delivery of superior meat and seafood. We are excited about these many opportunities to grow our business and enhance the value we provide our customers.”

According to a media release, Albion Farms and Fisheries is aiming to offer service, quality, and uninterrupted consistent supply, and is dedicated to meeting the centre-of-the-plate needs of customers with a greater breadth of offerings and commitment to sustainability.
