April 17, 2020, Vaughan, Ont. – Pizza Hut Canada has provided an update on the steps and actions implemented to date in response to COVID-19 to protect the health and safety of its employees, partners and customers across the country.

“The health and safety of Pizza Hut Canada employees, delivery partners and customers is our number one priority,” said Tatiana Carrascal, Pizza Hut Canada president. “We continue to work closely with our franchisees to adapt our response to COVID-19, incorporating guidance from governments and leading health authorities, in order to safely continue to provide Canadians with the food they love.

“We also want to recognize and thank those front-line workers who continue to work tirelessly to keep Canadians safe and healthy during this time, which is why we’ve launched a free pizza service for these local heroes. On behalf of Pizza Hut Canada, we thank you.”
