
Canadian Food Innovation Network unveils new program to spotlight Canada’s most impactful foodtechs

Food TrendsThe Canadian Food Innovation Network (CFIN) launches the Foodtech Frontier 25 program to highlight 25 of Canada’s “most ambitious and impactful foodtech companies.”
CFIN is inviting “innovators who are pushing boundaries, solving sector-wide challenges, and reshaping the future of food” to apply.
Foodtech companies and innovators, from seed-stage startups to large companies in the following areas, are invited to apply by July 10:
- food manufacturing technology;
- food waste and circularity;
- digital supply chain;
- food safety and traceability;
- kitchen and restaurant technology;
- next-gen ingredients and food;
- packaging; and
- consumer apps and services.
The inaugural Foodtech Frontier 25 list will be announced in Fall 2025.
