May 27, 2020, Milton, Ont. – Tingley has announced the addition of CSA Green Patch Pulsar™ Safety Toe PVC knee boots to its line of products.

The boots are for those working in a wide range of food processing, municipal, and light industrial applications. They are now available in the Milton warehouse.

“The CSA Green Patch Pulsars are durable and safe and can be worn almost anywhere that comfortable, waterproof boots are needed,” said Robert Petersen, senior product manager for Tingley.

“Listening to our customers, we realized that these boots had to be more than just safe. They had to be stylish, comfortable, slip-resistant and offer innovations not available in other boots – and we needed to do all this at a great value. We worked closely with users and we leveraged over 100 years of safety knowledge to develop these CSA Z195 full safety boots for Canada.”

The boots features a grade one protective toe cap, a puncture-resistant midsole, and are ESR hazard rated, while excellent slip-resistance on both wet-clean and wet-contaminated surfaces is achieved by Tingley’s self-cleaning Chevron-Plus® tread pattern.

Patent pending innovations include a Calf-Relief Expansion (CRE) gusset that expands up to 1.5 inches, allowing more calf comfort than ordinary boots and Tread Wear Indicators (TWI) show the point at which half the treads have worn away.

The boots are 15 inches in height and have a 12-inch cutline to facilitate fast and clean height modification. The have a contour, cushioned insole that absorbs shock and enhances comfort.

Pulsar boots are injection molded for a seamless construction that is 100-per-cent liquidproof and provides resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalies, fats and oils.
