MorningStar veggie burgers arrive in Canada


MorningStar Farms Veggie Burgers will be available in Canada this April – just in time for BBQ season.

Bursting with real, plant-based ingredients that you can see and recognize, MorningStar Farms Veggie Burgers are known for their taste and texture. The launch includes three delicious and unique flavours – Harvest Veggie Burgers, Spicy Black Bean Burgers and Mediterranean Chickpea Burgers – offer nine to 11 grams of protein per 67 grams.

Canadians have a growing desire to eat meatless meals is up 45 per cent over the last 10 years, more than 53 per cent of Canadians currently eat meat alternatives and the meat alternative category is up 40 per cent since 2013. MorningStar Farms Veggie Burgers are perfect for vegetarians or meat reducers, anyone wanting to eat less meat while striving to eat more plant-based foods.

The plant-based goodness of MorningStar Veggie Burgers features ingredients like carrots, onions and black beans with no artificial colours, flavours or trans-fats. They are also a source of fibre, certified Kosher and made with real plant-based ingredients. They cook from frozen in approximately eight minutes and can be prepared in a skillet, in the microwave, in the oven or on the BBQ.
