Cheers to the brewery winners

Toronto – In a statement the Ontario Brewing Awards released the names of the 2017 winners. The awards were held at The Great Hall to celebrate “the best of the best of Ontario beer.”

More than 120 breweries competed in 48 categories, says the statement, and submissions were “evaluated by a team of Beer Judge Certification Program judges.”

Les Murray, president of Intelivents and Beerlicious Inc.; and Roger Mittag, founder of Thirst for Knowledge, hosted the event, says the statement.

The winner of the Newcomer of the Year, says the statement, was The Napanee Brewing Co.
