Food-grade servo actuator
Tolomatic says its IMA electric linear actuator is its most powerful integrated servo motor rod actuator, and is now available with a food-grade white epoxy coating and stainless steel components

Tolomatic offers the IMA electric linear actuator, which is the company’s most powerful integrated servo motor rod actuator.
In a statement the company says the actuator now comes with a “food-grade white epoxy coating and stainless steel components for washdown applications in the food and beverage industry.
The company says the IMA actuator series integrates a servomotor and a ball or roller screw for long service life.
The actuator’s integrated motor design is well-suited for applications such as slicing control, pressing and valve control and volumetric filling.
The company says the IMA actuators are an economical alternative to custom stainless steel actuators.
Tolomatic says in the statement that the IMA line comes in four sizes and features stroke lengths from three to 18 inches and peak thrusts from 200 to 6,875 pounds force at speeds up to 24 inches per second.
