Erie, PA — Eriez offers a powerful line of magnetic separation equipment.

The company says its line of High Intensity Wet Magnetic Filters can provide protection against fine ferrous and paramagnetic contaminants in wet applications.

To collect fine particles requires a high-intensity, high-gradient magnetic field. An electromagnetic matrix-type separator, referred to as a magnet filter, has proven to be the most effective method of separation.

This type of separator uses a high-intensity electromagnet and a flux-converging matrix. The matrix amplifies the magnetic field and provides high-gradient collection sites for the magnetic contaminants.

Technological advances over the years have aided in the optimization of Eriez’ electromagnetic circuits and led to the design of electromagnetic matrix-type magnetic filters that possess very high magnetic gradients. The resulting increase in the magnetic attractive force enables Eriez High Intensity Wet Magnetic Filters to offer superior magnetic collection and separation efficiency for capturing even paramagnetic (feebly magnetic) contaminants.

Eriez’ High Intensity Wet Magnetic Filters are easy to clean and available in various sizes and magnetic field strengths.
Eriez can custom design units to suit customers’ precise application needs. In addition to electro models, a line of
permanent magnetic filters is also available from Eriez.
