Water bottling factoryMadison Chemical is introducing Madison MPW, a liquid peroxyacetic acid-based microbiocide or antimicrobial intervention chemical that’s ideal for use in federally inspected meat, poultry and seafood processing installations. This equilibrium mixture of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid, proprietary ingredients and water, exhibits excellent bactericidal and fungicidal activity against a wide range of microorganisms, including E. coli, E. coli 0157:H7, Listeria and Salmonella. It can be used in cold or warm water, is tolerant of water hardness, is non-foaming, and imparts no taste, odour or colour to the treated foods. Madison MPW is ideal for direct or indirect application to raw or further food products including: processed whole, half, quarter or red-meat parts, organs and trim; poultry carcasses, parts and organs; as well as seafood and vegetable food items. www.madchem.com
