Registration open for Tiptree World Bread Awards


WASHINGTON, D.C. — For the second year in a row, the American Bakers Association (ABA), will celebrate the best American bread bakers in partnership with the Tiptree World Bread Awards from Oct. 29 to 30, 2019 in New York City.

ABA is supporting two categories in the 2019 competition: Sourdough and Wholewheat/Wholemeal. The two categories are among the 14 total, which ranges from baguette to pretzel.

Competitors – which include wholesale bakers – have the chance to receive a cash prize, trophy, and industry recognition should the expert panel of judges deem their product the best in class. The Awards are now open for online registration. Bread entries close Sept. 30, 2019.
