Food & Consumer Products of Canada (FCPC) is pleased to announce the hiring of Frank Scali to the role of director, industry affairs, effective Nov. 25.

In this new role, Frank will lead FCPC’s Supply Chain Council – driving industry insights and providing members with opportunities for cost savings/efficiencies and improved service to retailers.

Frank comes to FCPC from Nestle Canada, having spent 22 years in progressive supply chain roles. Most recently he led the Customer Facing Supply Chain (CFSC) department – the important linkage between the sales and supply chain organizations, as well as the supply chain partners to the customers. In this capacity, Frank worked closely with the sales and supply chain leadership teams. During his CFSC tenure, Frank was involved in the expansion & rollout of Customer Demand Planning, On-Shelf Availability, Vendor Managed Inventory, Seasonal planning roadmaps and Product Lifecycle Management programs.

Frank also represented Nestle in various industry supply chain-related initiatives and workgroups (EDI, Barcoding, ECCNet, CPFR) and for the last three years served as chair of FCPC’s Supply Chain Council.
