Kelowna, B.C. – Consolidated Fruit Packers (CFP), part of The Star Group of Companies, has acquired Graem Nelson Associates Ltd., a cherry marketer and international distributor based in the Okanagan.
CFP says the acquisition highlights the its long-term investment in the Okanagan Valley, increasing its grower base, fruit production and supply.
CFP adds that Graem Nelson has invested in the preharvest and marketing of cherries and works with multiple growers on best practices.
The acquisition will help CFP expand programs with Canadian growers in conjunction with top retailers in Canada, the U.S. and around the globe.
