Amhil to make one million face shields a month

May 28, 2020, Mississauga, Ont. – Amhil North America a leader in sustainable food packaging solutions, is joining the fight against Covid-19 with the launch of its PPE Class I Face Shield.

“Shipments will begin immediately for healthcare professionals and essential services,” said Rick Babington, president of Amhil North America. “With capacity of over one million face shields per month, we will also supply our protective face shields to a growing number of businesses that require increased hygiene and safety protection for their workers.”

Amhil’s protective face shields are for frontline and essential workers in hospital settings, healthcare offices, COVID testing facilities and home care. They can also be used for retail, distribution, manufacturing and other settings that involve close contact occupations.

Amhil’s face shields provide full barrier protective coverage, are lightweight, easy to assemble and are made from 100-per-cent recyclable food-grade PET. They are available in two case sizes – either 25 or 100 units per box.
