
World’s largest yogurt maker grows again

Paris, France – Dairy giant Danone has acquired Naugatuck, Conn.-based YoCrunch for an undisclosed amount.
With net annual sales of $110 million, YoCrunch is the U.S. market leader for yogurt featuring flavoured toppings such as granola, dried fruit and branded confectionery. The company has seen double-digit growth in recent years.
The move expands Danone’s presence in the U.S. Danone currently accounts for approximately 30 per cent of the $6.5-billion U.S. yogurt market.
