Richmond, B.C. – Premium Brands Holdings Corporation has acquired Waterloo, Ont.-based Piller Sausages & Delicatessens Ltd. for US$75.4 million.
Based in Richmond, B.C., Premium Brands produces a wide portfolio of branded specialty food and foodservice businesses in the meat, seafood, baked goods sectors. The company has manufacturing and distribution facilities in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Washington.
Piller, a family established in 1957, is one of the country’s leading producers of specialty European deli meats. It award-winning products include packaged sliced meats, sausages and wieners, ham, bacon and snack foods.
