Toronto – A Charlotte, N.C.-based investment firm, Niagara Ventures Corporation, has acquired Blu Dot Beverage Company of Oakville, Ont.
Financial details of the deal, which is expected to close Dec. 5 this year, were not released.
Blu Dot Beverage produces all-natural and organic green tea beverages that are only mildly sweetened and that contain protein and fibre.
The company’s lineup includes all natural Protein Teas currently available in five flavours: Orange Pineapple, Blueberry Acai, Apple Pear, Honey Lemon and Cranberry Pomegranate.
Niagara Ventures is a capital pool company governed by the policies of the TSXV.
Completion of the transaction is subject to a number of conditions, including but not limited to, TSXV acceptance.
