Hubberts Industries, a 100+ year-old Canadian food ingredients company, announced today that it has rebranded as Bank Brothers Sustainable Ingredients (BBSI).

Hubberts Industries was established in 1899 and over the years has gradually expanded its operations and diversified its offerings to include a wide variety of tallow, lard, and vegetable oil products. In 2017, Bank Bros & Son Ltd., a multi-generational family business with more than 70 years of experience in adding value to key by-products of the beef industry, purchased Hubberts in order to expand its operations.

“We are proud of our storied history in Canada and believe that our new branding as Bank Brothers Sustainable Ingredients will help us grow and improve our business even further,” says Joshua Bank, Vice President, Bank Brothers Sustainable Ingredients.

“BBSI is committed to sourcing and manufacturing the highest quality ingredients for our customers. Our new branding reinforces our commitment to quality and sustainability. We are excited for the next chapter in our company’s history.”
