bioMérieux recognized for food safety commitment

France’s bioMérieux is the winner of the IAFP’s Black Pearl Award

France-based bioMérieux, Inc. is the 2011 recipient of the International Association for Food Protection’s (IAFP) prestigious Black Pearl Award.

The award, sponsored by Wilbur Feagan and F&H Food Equipment Company, recognizes bioMérieux’s efforts to advance food safety and quality through consumer programs, employee relations, educational activities, standards and support of the IAFP.

bioMérieux is based in Marcy l’Etoile, France (pictured above), with North American headquarters in Hazelwood, Mo. It is a world leader in providing solutions to food safety testing issues. bioMérieux’s food safety focus also includes prevention, detection quality assurance, and nutrition.
