Victoria, B.C. – The B.C. government has launched the Agri-Food Knowledge Platform, a website that it anticipates will help the province’s food and beverage industry become more competitive.
The new site, www.agrifoodBC.ca, will allow processors to access valuable information on commodities, business risk management tools, emergency planning and agricultural research. The site will also help support innovation within the industry, as well as acting as a source of knowledge sharing and development.
The initiative is part of Growing Forward, a federal and provincial partnership agreement. It will be administered through the B.C. Agricultural Research & Development Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the B.C. Agriculture Council.
