Barentz names Mike Emrich as president of its human nutrition vertical

Barentz has appointed Mike Emrich as president of its newly formed North American human nutrition vertical.

Emrich brings more than 30 years of industry and leadership experience, serving in both commercial and technical roles in the North American food and beverage ingredients market. He most recently acted as president of Barentz Canada.

In conjunction with the establishment of the North American human nutrition vertical, Ingredients, Inc., has been merged with Barentz North America, LLC. Headquartered in Buffalo Grove, Ill., Ingredients, Inc., was acquired by Barentz in May 2020. It is a provider of high-quality ingredient solutions. Through the combination of these businesses, Barentz’s human nutrition vertical boasts coast-to-coast coverage across North America and an expansive specialty ingredients and additives portfolio.
