Multivac Inc. has introduced the Multi-robot Handling Module H 240.

The company says the H 240 multi-robot handling module can automate manual tasks in packaging processes cost-efficiently and hygienically.

The system comes with two four-axis HR 460 pick-and-place robots and offers a maximum throughput with up to 240 pick-and-place cycles per minute.

Some of its features include flexible loading and unloading of packaging machines, a modular construction with interchangeable gripper system, and flexible adjustment to products and packs.

Its modular construction and easy-to-change gripper system make the equipment suitable for a wide range of applications with variable products, formats, cycle times and handling weights. The H 240 can also handle unpacked food or complete packages with different sizes and weight.
