Westfalia Technologies has introduced its new dual pallet handling Vertical Lift, which is capable of moving 360 pallets an hour.

A three-strand conveyor is mounted on the lift for transferring pallets on and off and it can handle either one or two pallets at a time.
With a maximum vertical speed of 200 feet per minute, Westfalia’s Vertical Lift has a 20-second cycle time for the 8’9” travel distance, including the time for pallets to move on and off the lift and for the lift to move back to its original position.
It uses two gear motors mounted on the floor level mechanically linked with a drive shaft and driven with an AB PowerFlex 700 drive.
Westfalia tests each Vertical Lift and Conveying System before they leave the manufacturing facility. The company’s in-house mechanical and electrical engineering teams can customize the material handling systems customers need to fit specific space requirements.
