Piab, a supplier of industrial vacuum technology, has launched its new piGRIP suction cup.

The company says the new piGRIP allows companies to choose a combination of lip and bellow so packaging lines can handle products at a higher speed and realize energy savings.
Available with a range of independent lips, bellows and fittings in sizes from 25-77mm, the new piGRIP suction cup can be customized for thousands of applications.

The company adds that traditional grippers can be used for certain applications, but the piGRIP can be tailored to individual gripping, lifting and height requirements to handle a variety of products and fit with a number of packaging machines, including robotic arms, rotary cartoners, labelling machines and carton erectors.

The piGRIP can be used with new machines as well as for retrofitting existing systems.
