
Continental Ingredients Canada has a new partner

Geneva, Ill. – Roquette, provider of renewable, plant-based raw materials, has forged a partnership with Oakville, Ont.-based Continental Ingredients Canada (CIC). The partnership takes effect April 2014.
The partnership will see CIC service Roquette products in Canada.
CIC, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, specializes in the design and application of functional food ingredient systems to assist in providing the desired taste and texture for food and beverage products.
The company’s main products include the Well Seasoned line of savoury mixes and snack seasonings and flavour concepts,; the Continental Cuisine line of food and beverage bases; and its health and wellness products under the Good For You! line.
Roquette, which has its headquarters in France, processes vegetable raw materials, such as maize, wheat, potatoes, peas and micro-algae, to produce more than 700 by-products.
Those by-products include starch products, sugars and dietary fibres, polyols, proteins and their derivaties, fibres, oils and soluble products; and bioethanol.
