Gelita unveils its collagen proteins for beauty, joint health, calorie management and texture
Paris, France – At FI Europe 2011, a food ingredients exhibition, Gelita announced its collagen peptides Verisol, Fortigel, Vitarcal and Gelatine.
Verisol, bioactive collagen peptides, can increase skin elasticity and prevent the formation of wrinkles by stimulating skin metabolism and the formation of new collagen from within, says the company.
The optimized collagen peptides that make up Fortigel can stimulate the cartilage cells to increase the production of both collagen and proteoglycans – the two major components of cartilage.
Vitarcal is made up of a range of collage proteins that provide convincing solutions for calorie management without compromising their sensory profiles.
Gelatine can be tailor-made to individual applications and production parameters. It can provide foamy, jelly, chewy, firm, highly viscose or any other texture, says the company.
