February 21, 2020, Toronto – Starbucks and Nestlé Canada have introduced a new range of coffee capsules for the Nespresso original system.

They are the first-ever Starbucks coffee capsules developed using Nespresso proprietary coffee and system technology. Each capsule combines Nespresso’s system know-how with Starbucks’ unique coffee flavours and house blends.

Ethel Touitou, business executive officer, beverages, Nestlé Canada, said in a press release that the company is proud to be working with Starbucks.

“We have been excited about the new range of products for years, and now consumers can enjoy Starbucks espresso conveniently in their homes nationwide.”

The new range of Starbucks coffee capsules for the Nespresso Original system features premium signature blends for coffee lovers to enjoy at home. All coffees are made from 100-per-cent, high-quality Arabica coffee, ethically sourced from farmers in the world’s premier coffee-growing regions, adhering to the Starbucks CAFÉ Practices program.

All capsules are made from aluminum, are fully-recyclable and accepted in Nespresso’s Canadian recycling solutions.

The new capsules are Starbucks Espresso Roast, Starbucks Blonde Espresso Roast and Starbucks Pike Place Roast.

As of now, consumers can access the coffee products from grocery stores nationwide and through major retailers in-store and online.
