Gogo Quinoa has launched new Super Grains Pasta, and Double Chocolate Quinoa Cookies.
The pasta is made with a blend of chia, quinoa, sorghum and amaranth super grains.
The new pasta is also certified organic, gluten-free and 100 per cent vegan, and it’s part of the Non-GMO project.
Super Grains Pasta offers consumers a good source of fibre and iron, as well as protein (5 g per portion). Super Grains Fusilli and Super Grains Elbows come in 227-g bags, and Super Grains Spaghettini come in a 227-g box.
The pasta is currently available at Costco stores in Eastern Canada before it rolls out to supermarkets and health food stores later in November.
The company also introduced Double Chocolate Quinoa Cookies, which come in 198-g bags. The cookies are made with quinoa flour, and are vegan and gluten-free. Each cookie is individually wrapped.
