Ocean Nutrition Canada celebrates 100 billion served

Dartmouth, N.S. – Ocean Nutrition Canada Ltd. (ONC), makers of MEG-3, have announced that there are now more than 100 billion servings of the omega-3 EPA/DHA brand consumed around the world.
ONC, based in Dartmouth, N.S., is the world’s largest supplier of omega-3 EPA/DHA from fish oil for the dietary supplement and food manufacturing industries.
This important milestone means that every day more than 21 million servings of MEG-3 are consumed globally in a wide variety of products.
“This is a huge milestone for ONC and the MEG-3 brand,” says Jon Getzinger, chief Sales and Marketing officer. “This achievement affirms our leadership position in the omega-3 category and speaks volumes about the quality and purity of MEG-3 ingredients.”
ONC is a privately held company. Its major shareholder is Bedford, N.S.-based seafood processor Clearwater Fine Foods Inc.
