Market for ‘Beyond Sausage’ expands in Canada

Beyond Sausage is found at major grocery stores across Canada along with the company’s popular plant-based Beyond Burger and Beyond Beef, and is available in a club pack at Costco locations across Canada starting October 10. Beyond Sausage is designed to deliver the juicy, sizzling and delicious satisfaction of pork sausage. Like all of Beyond Meat’s products, Beyond Sausage is 100% plant-based and non-GMO.

Beyond Meat products are designed to meet, if not exceed, the nutritional profile of its animal protein equivalent:

• 16g of plant-based protein per serving, 2g more than traditional pork
• 33-44% less saturated fat, 30-34% less total fat and 47-52% less sodium when compared to a leading brand of pork sausage, depending on flavour
• No GMOs, soy or gluten
