Dallas – Nutrinova, the sweetener and preservative business of Celanese Corporation, has launched the new SunsationSM platform, which the company says will help processors develop low- and no-calorie products.
Sunsation Sunett SL is the first product in the platform and is a sweetener system for sugar-reduced or sugar-free food and beverage products.
Nutrinova says it created the Sunsation platform to fill a need in the industry for better tasting zero-calorie sweetened products.
Sunsation also helps to simplify the formulation process so manufacturers can bring their products to market faster.
The Sunsation platform is also designed to provide manufacturers with drop-in solutions in which the individual ingredients have been selected to complement one another.
