Orange flavours
The Orange Dreamsicle GREENSuperFood from Amazing Grass is an organic drink powder inspired by the classic Creamsicle ice cream treat, but with healthy vitamins, minerals and organic whole food nutrients. It is non-dairy, non-GMO, vegan and gluten-free, and doesn’t contain soy lecithin fillers. Orange Dreamsicle is available in boxes of 15 single-serve packets, as well as 30- and 100-serving containers, and is sold in health food stores nationally.

Versatile vodka
SKYY Infusions Ginger is the first ginger-flavoured vodka available in Canada. The vodka combines ginger with ultra-premium SKYY Vodka, creating a light, sweet taste featuring citrus, clove, candied ginger and baked spice aromas. The versatile new vodka from SKYY Spirits can be used in a variety of ingredients to create either a sweet, savoury or spicy alcoholic beverage.

Delicious dips
The T. Marzetti Company has launched three new Greek Yogurt Veggie Dips and three new Hummus Veggie Dips under the Otria brand. The Otria Greek Yogurt Veggie Dips contain only 60 calories per serving, and are available in three varieties: Cucumber Dill Feta, Garden Herb Ranch, and Spinach Artichoke. The new Otria Hummus Veggie Dips have 70 calories per serving, and also come in three flavours: Original (featuring chick peas, sesame and extra virgin olive oil), Roasted Red Pepper, and Roasted Garlic.

Healthy tea
Rooibos teas from DavidsTeas’ Hydration Collection are high in antioxidants, low in tannins, and naturally caffeine free. They also contain a variety of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, zinc, magnesium, iron, potassium and calcium. DavidsTea offers three rooibos varieties: Three Lemon Green, with lemongrass, lemon zest and lemon myrtle; Green & Fruity, featuring green rooibos tea flavoured with papaya, apple, mango and peach; and Raspberry Nectar, a caffeine-free, golden rose coloured tea with organic raspberries, honeybush, lemongrass, and natural citrus essence.

Island flavour
Grace Island Soda has a new bottle and a new marketing campaign to go with it. Each bottle of soda from GraceKennedy (Ontario) Inc. features a different message under the bottlecap written in Jamaican Patois. Consumers can then go to www.gracemessageinabottle.com to uncover the meaning, and enter their own colourful island sayings. A panel of judges will pick the best sayings, and the winners will receive free pop for a month (36 bottles). The soft drink is available in 10 flavours, including Pineapple, Ginger Beer, Kola Champaign and Grapefruit.

Healthy meats
Schneiders Country Naturals, made with natural ingredients without artificial preservatives, is the first full line of prepared meats approved by Health Canada to carry the “Made with natural ingredients” claim. The line, from Schneider Foods, includes smoked uncured ham, bacon and wieners, as well as sliced deli meats in six varieties: oven roasted turkey, oven roasted chicken, uncured baked ham, smoked uncured black forest ham, uncured baked honey ham, and salami. Meats in the line range in price from $3.99 to $10.99.

Pudding treat
Kozy Shack’s Simplywell is a low-fat, naturally flavoured, 100-calorie pudding. This rich and creamy treat is perfect as a healthy on-the-go snack, and is a good source of calcium, vitamin D and prebiotic fibre, without preservatives or gluten. Simplywell puddings are available in Dark Chocolate and Vanilla Bliss flavours, and sell for $3.99 for a four-pack.

Breakfast bars
ELEVATE MY Breakfast! from PROsnack Natural Foods Inc. is a chewy, whole fruit bar breakfast bar that’s perfect for eating on the run. The 90-calorie, 22-g square is gluten-free, and contains 18-per-cent protein with no granola fillers. Packed with whole fruit, whey protein, almonds and walnuts, the bars are sold in boxes of seven individually wrapped squares, and are available in three flavours: Raspberry Cranberry Blueberry, Mango Papaya Coconut, and Cocoa Dark Chocolate Chip.
