The asset acquisition marks VersaCold’s entrance into the U.S. cross border transportation market segment


Vancouver-based VersaCold Logistic Services, a Canadian supply chain solutions company focused exclusively on the handling of temperature-sensitive products, has announced that it has acquired the assets of Calgary-based Gary Heer Transport Ltd.

Gary Heer Transport provides refrigerated truckload cross-border transportation services between Western Canada and the U.S.

The asset acquisition marks VersaCold’s entrance into the U.S. cross border transportation market segment. It will also establish the company’s newest subsidiary, VersaCold North America Transportation Solutions Limited (VNATS), which is set to launch in Q1 of 2016.
