ACE and HERO team up again with pink buns for breast cancer

ACE Bakery and HERO Certified Burgers have teamed up once again to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Ontario Region (CBCF) in an effort to help “beet” cancer.

From September 26 through October 21 this year, diners can visit any HERO Certified Burger location in Ontario and enjoy their favourite burger on a pink bun from ACE Bakery. These striking and unique-looking buns get their colour from all natural beet juice added to the dough.

“At ACE Bakery we are passionate about many things, and engaging the community to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research is very high on our list,” says Roy Benin, president of ACE Bakery. “We had such a wonderful response to the pink bun campaign last year. Partnering with HERO once again is a privilege.”

The campaign’s tagline reads: Be a Hero. Let’s #BeetCancer together.

“Last year’s campaign surpassed our expectations,” says John F. Lettieri, president of HERO Certified Burgers. “We are incredibly thrilled to continue this effort for a second year. We want our guests to know they can still enjoy their favourite burger while making a difference!”

ACE Bakery and HERO Certified Burgers are encouraging supporters to post photos and comments about the campaign on social media. Supporters can be rewarded with delicious prizes when using the official hashtag #BeetCancer, as well as tagging ACE Bakery and HERO Certified Burgers on Instagram and Twitter.
