Charlevoix, Que. – Écolait Ltd. has acquired Le Veau Charlevoix brand, with plans to relaunch it in grocery stores across Quebec.

Le Veau Charlevoix veal brand was founded more than 35 years ago by Jean Robert Audet.
According to Audet, the brand had to thoroughly modernize its production facilities in order to grow. He says that Écolait’s modern, federally certified meat packaging plant, as well as its strong distribution network will “contribute to the maintenance and development of new family farms in all of Quebec’s regions.”
Écolait is the largest milk and grain-fed veal production and processing company in the province.
