Next month M&M Meat Shops again celebrates its annual Charity BBQ, with proceeds going to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada. The event, which takes place on May 9 at the meat chain’s 465-plus locations across Canada, has a goal of raising $2.1 million. Since it began hosting the event 20 years ago, M&M Meat Shops has raised more than $16.5 million for medical research towards finding a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and has helped to establish the Canadian IBD Tissue Bank.
