Piab, a supplier of industrial vacuum technology, has launched its new piGRIP suction cup, which the company says is the first modular suction cup on the market.

The new piGRIP allows companies to choose combinations of lip and bellow so packaging lines can handle products at faster speeds and save energy.

The company says the new suction cup is available with a range of independent lips, bellows and fittings in sizes from 25 mm to 77 mm and it can be customized for many applications.

Traditional grippers can only be used for select applications, but piGRIP can be tailored to individual gripping, lifting and height requirements. It can also be used with new machines as well as for retrofitting existing systems.
