The NOVATION Endura series of functional native starches from the Ingredion group of companies are the next generation in clean-label, process tolerant ingredients. The new series is able to withstand harsh processing methods such as UHT, HTST, homogenization, high heat, high shear and long cooking time, while maintaining product quality and a clean label.
The first of the series, NOVATION Endura 0100, offers the highest process tolerance of any functional native starch on the market, while providing viscosity and cold temperature stability, allowing producers to launch more products with a clean simple label, while maintaining great taste and texture. Possible applications include yogurt, dairy desserts, dressings, frozen and chilled prepared meals, and UHT soups, sauces and gravies in aseptic packages.
During IFT this year Ingredion showcased NOVATION Endura 0100 in a non-dairy Watercess and Almond Cream Soup.
