TABASCO has launched a new addition to its family of sauces called TABASCO SWEET & Spicy.

The new sauce landed on grocery store shelves in September.

In a statement, McIlhenny Company says the new TABASCO SWEET & Spicy “consists of a blend of Original TABASCO Pepper Sauce with ginger, garlic, onion and spices, resulting in a subtle flavour sensation known as ‘sweet heat.'” Ingredients have been sourced from both Far East and southern Louisiana.

The new sauce measures between 100-600 Scoville Heat Units and is one of the TABASCO brand’s mildest member.

TABASCO SWEET & Spicy has a thick texture and mild heat making it also suitable for dipping. The company adds that it can also be used as a glaze for grilling meats, a condiment, an ingredient in salad dressings and stir fries, and for  basting chicken, pork or shrimp.
