Corby Spirit and Wine Ltd. has hand-picked a selection of Canada’s rarest casks and introduced them in its first annual Northern Border Collection Rare Release.

Corby showcases Canadian whisky with the Northern Border Collection Rare Release: Lot No. 40 12 Year Old Cask Strength, Gooderham & Worts Little Trinity 17 Year Old Three Grain, J.P. Wiserís 35 Year Old, and Pike Creek 21 Year Old (CNW Group/Corby Spirit and Wine Communications)

The range includes:

Pike Creek 21 Year Old, is a smooth and round sipping whisky and retails for $89.95 per 750-mL bottle;

12 Year Old Cask Strength Lot No. 40, is a 100% rye whisky, which has spicy rye notes and retails for $69.95 per 750-mL bottle;

• Gooderham & Worts ‘Little Trinity’ 17 Year Old Three Grain, is a blend of three grains: corn, rye and wheat, and is a sipping whisky, retailing for $79.95 per 750-mL-bottle.

J.P. Wiser’s 35 Year Old, one of Canada’s oldest whiskies, retails for $164.95 for a 750-mL bottle.

The limited release, which is meant to showcase Canadian whisky, was launched in October in Canadian stores.
